As a massage therapist, I wanted to run my own operation. Obviously, scheduling is huge for Massage Therapists. Even more complicated for multiple therapists, providing combinations of services from a multi studio location.
My biggest complaint, is that in order to schedule, I have to "hand off" my client to some other system. And in most cases, those systems serve as directories for other massage therapists. Imagine spending marketing dollars to create traffic to your website, where you generate enough interest to initiate an appointment scheduling event, only to lose the client because you were not available on the specific day and time they requested. But rather than find an alternate day & time, the client is a simple click away from a directory of my direct competition.
No hate! I love and respect all my fellow therapists that are practicing professional massage. But that is my client! I do not want it to be that easy to lose my client!
So while you may have access to limited scheduling, and customer communication tools; you also are exposing - literally inviting - your clients to "check and see who else is available" when using this "so close to the finish line" online scheduling solution. Every therapist realizes that when they configure their "free own website" with various providers, professional affiliation groups, etc. that they are fishing in a pool. Furthermore, the percentage of customers that find your free website via the hosting provider is almost statistically insignificant when compared to people who simply search in their favorite engine: "Massage Near Me".
The customer wants to meet you. Not some grand wellness affiliate. They want to learn what you do. Successful therapists know, you have to have your own domain, on your own website. In order to make that leap, you need to invest at least $200 in a one time standalone, or WordPress PlugIn type solution. Or, $40/month for on online solution that has more bells & whistles.
There is so much pressure on new therapists. Whether they are giving away their time through "Big Discount" affiliations & marketing companies, it is no surprise the failure rate. How can a therapist be profitable with so many subscription based fingers in their small profit pie?
Call it "Compassionate Capitalism".
Call it "Not Being F*cking Greedy".
And so I created ScheduleYourClient.com because, whether you are a Massage Therapist or a Physical Therapist:
Any Online Scheduling System has the ability to inhibit and even cause negative customer experience. As such, these systems have a responsibility to their users to only benefit, when the user is clearly benefiting.
And therefore, our system is free for you to use as follows:
Complete system access. You configure and implement as much or as little of our features as you need.
This includes full customer registration, verification and email engagement (if you so choose). You can modify 100% of the communication templates. and create an unlimited variety of Custom Client Forms as well as fully customizable Per Appointment Preferences. If it is the kind of business you run, you can have those clients logging in and rescheduling using their online client interface. They just simply click "Reschedule". And everything is predefined! Just pick a time. Plus, they can schedule you out in advance! And that is where YOU make your profit! Your customers, coming to YOUR site, and logging into an interface that allows then to create as many future appointments as YOU allow. They and you, will get all the confirmation emails, reminder emails. Your clients will essentially have the ability to manage their relationship with you. You simply see your calendar filling up with new and repeat business.
If you sell Gift Certificates, we can track them, too. The sale AND the redemption. Because you have a Point Of Sale interface available to you. You can even setup and sell additional inventory items at the Point Of Sale. You can advertise those supplemental inventory items through our Product Catalog interface that is available to you if you want.
Ultimately, our tools provide the way for your customers to get that appointment scheduled. That appointment goes from Non Existent....to Pending...to Approved (maybe even automatically) and then Completed (again, automatically if you like). Our system handles the communications to the customer, to your employees and to your administrator. It provides Performance Reports, Sales Reports weekly and Daily Agendas. Everything you need to make business decisions about the business you are scheduling online.
Here is when you pay:
The 26th scheduled appointment, and each one thereafter per month, will cost you a quarter.
That's it. Twenty-five cents per "Appointment".
An appointment is the combination of
a customer (client, patient, lucky service recipient)
a primary service (or product)
one or more employees (therapist, specialist, doctor, technician)
a location where it will all occur
and a date & time for the appointment (session, class, event).
Each appointment can have multiple services. But one of them is the primary, that determines how long the appointment will last, and how many employees are required to fulfill the appointment.
Each appointment can have multiple employees if necessary (couples massage, physical therapy, event) as defined by the service.
And that's it. Just $0.25 for each of those (after the 25th one).
Example: You schedule 4 sessions per day, 4 days per week, 4 weeks per month, you would only pay $9.75 per month.
It is my own personal experience, that after 25 sessions per month, I could start affording to pay for online scheduling. And that is where the number came from.
It is my goal to be able to generate enough successful users that would justify lowering the 25 cent per appointment fee, to 24. cents..then 23 cents...
All the while hiring and doing my best to overpay an army of employees that will continue to make the tools even more powerful, while getting that price to continue dropping...20 cents...19 cents...
